MENTAL HEALTH WEBINAR Trauma-Informed Care |

Join Alexis, a therapist at Reach for Resources, for an engaging and informative webinar focused on understanding trauma and its impact on individuals, families, and communities. This session will provide a foundational overview of trauma, including how it affects the brain and behavior, as well as practical strategies for responding with empathy, awareness, and support.
Whether you are a caregiver, professional, or community member, you will gain valuable tools to recognize signs of trauma, create safe and supportive environments, and build stronger, more compassionate relationships. Alexis will also share approaches grounded in trauma-informed care that promote resilience, healing, and inclusion. This webinar is designed to be approachable, interactive, and relevant to real-life situations, with time for questions and reflection.

Puzzle Palooza is a fast-paced, team-based jigsaw puzzle competition open to individuals and teams of 2 to 4 people. Everyone starts at the same time, racing to complete a 500-piece puzzle. The top three fastest teams will take home some great prizes!
This event is open to all community members of all ages and abilities, including those supported by Reach. Whether you’re signing up solo, as a duo, or with a full team, we’ll make sure you’re set up for a fun and welcoming experience. How it Works: • Each team receives the same sealed 500-piece puzzle, revealed at the start of the event. • Teams race to finish first. • Headphones are welcome for focused puzzling.
• Battery-powered lighting is allowed. • No phones or external tools permitted. • Designed for all skill levels. • Prizes awarded to the top 3 teams. |

Reach for Resources' Employment Services helps individuals with disabilities prepare for, find, and maintain meaningful employment. Through personalized career planning, job search assistance, resume development, on-the-job coaching, and ongoing workplace support, our team empowers individuals to build confidence, develop valuable skills, and achieve their employment goals. We partner with job seekers, employers, and support teams to create successful, long-term employment opportunities throughout the Twin Cities metro.

Kyra is the newest therapist on the Reach for Resources team, providing affirming, inclusive therapy for teens, adults, and couples. She supports clients navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, trauma, and life transitions, creating a welcoming space where they feel accepted just as they are.
Her collaborative approach incorporates mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Brainspotting, and nature-based techniques to foster healing, self-understanding, and meaningful growth.
