A SUPPORTIVE SPACE. REAL CONNECTIONS.
Receiving an autism diagnosis in adulthood can bring a mix of emotions, questions, and new perspectives. For many adults, a diagnosis can help make sense of past experiences while also opening the door to better understanding, self-advocacy, and connection with others who share similar experiences.
Reach for Resources is excited to introduce our new Adult Diagnosis Autism Group, a supportive space designed for adults (18+) who identify as neurodivergent, including those with Autism, ADHD, or AuDHD diagnoses received in adulthood.
This group provides an opportunity to connect with others who understand the unique experiences and challenges that can come with navigating life as a neurodivergent adult. Participants will have the chance to share experiences, build relationships, learn from one another, and find support in a welcoming, judgment-free environment.
Led by Alexis, the group meets Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. at the Reach for Resources office. The group is billed through insurance, making this meaningful connection and support more accessible. Whether you are newly diagnosed, have been exploring your neurodivergent identity for years, or are simply looking for a community that understands, this group offers a place to connect, belong, and be yourself. |
