TRAIL by Reach for Resources
TRAIL by Reach provides transportation for adults with developmental disabilities living in Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Edina, St. Louis Park, and Richfield. We transport our riders to recreation, leisure, and educational programs offered by Adaptive Recreation & Learning Exchange (AR&LE) and Reach, if a program is hosted in one of these designated cities. All programs are specifically designed to meet the needs of people with developmental disabilities, providing the independence to enrich their lives, mentally, creatively and socially. Program Pricing
Roundtrip rides* cost $2 per event/program. Rides can be purchased online by scanning the QR code below or by mailing a check/money to the Reach office.
*Please note, only residents of Bloomington, Richfield, Edina, Eden Prairie, and St. Louis Park are currently eligible for TRAIL bus rides. We’re working to expand this in the future.
Who We Support
Each of our riders need to check these boxes in order to qualify for TRAIL:
- TRAIL serves adults age 22 and older living in Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Edina, Richfield, and St. Louis Park.
- Riders must be living in independent/semi-independent living situations.
- Each applicant will be evaluated on an individual basis. Further clarification of circumstances may be requested.
How It Works
TRAIL by Reach offers rides to participants in specific AR&LE and Reach programs. Riders can register for TRAIL rides through these programs, and we then send the rider list to our transportation provider to arrange the routes. Riders will receive a phone call with their pick-up time at least a day before the program. Our drivers offer door-to-door service, ensuring each rider is safely escorted from their home to the program and back again once the program ends.

Bowling for Buses
Date: Saturday, September 7
Time: 2:00-5:00 p.m.
Location: AMF Southtown Lanes – Bloomington
Bowler Ticket: $25 | two hours of bowling, shoes, pizza, soda and door prizes
Spectator Ticket: $15 | pizza and soda
Bring your family & friends and get ready to knock down some pins and support TRAIL by Reach. Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of bowling, food and prizes! 9-Pin No-Tap: Knock down 9 pins on your first ball, and it’s counted as a strike! Come and see if you can achieve your highest score yet. Tickets are not refundable but are transferable. Bowler tickets cannot be purchased at the event. All ages & abilities welcome!
