Intern at Reach

Opportunities exist at Reach for Resources for undergraduate and graduate students looking for an internship/practicum in the disciplines of event planning, fund development, HR, marketing, mental health, public advocacy, IT, adaptive recreation, volunteer resources, or related services degrees. Reach will also work with interns to build customized internships based on specific interests and services. Interns have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, providing direct client care to children, teens, and adults with developmental disabilities.

Reach programs include both individual and group work. Interns will be supervised by professional staff, but expected to work independently. Some interns must be available to work afternoon and evening hours, have their own transportation, and pass a criminal background check.

Students can receive credit for their internship work or simply volunteer for the learning experience. All Reach programs are year-round, and training experiences can range from three months to a year.
