Intern at Reach

Reach for Resources offers internship/practicum opportunities for both undergraduate and graduate students interested in event planning, fund development, human resources, marketing, mental health, public advocacy, adaptive recreation, volunteer resources, or related service degrees. We also work with interns to build customized internships based on specific interests and services. Interns have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, providing direct client care to children, teens, and adults with disabilities and mental health conditions.

Interns will be supervised by professional staff, but expected to work independently. Some interns must be available to work afternoon, evening and weekend hours, have their own transportation, and pass a criminal background check.

Students can receive credit for their internship or simply volunteer for the learning experience. Internships can range from three months to a year and include individual and group work. Most internships opportunities are unpaid.

For other open intern positions, please feel free to contact the office at 952-200-3030 or [email protected].

“I have enjoyed forming and growing relationships with the people on my caseload. It is incredibly rewarding to see the progress they’ve made in achieving their goals in the nine months I’ve been working with them.”
