Patrick Boley, 2025 Notable Nonprofit Board Member by Twin Cities Business and Reach for Resources.

Reach for Resources is proud to announce that Patrick Boley, longtime board member and legal advisor, has been named one of Twin Cities Business Magazine’s 2025 Notable Nonprofit Board Members. This prestigious recognition honors individuals who bring exceptional leadership, governance, and strategic insight to nonprofit organizations across Minnesota.

Patrick has served on Reach for Resources’ Board of Directors since 2006, with a brief hiatus while earning his Master of Law in Taxation and Certificate of Estate Planning from Georgetown University. Over nearly two decades, Patrick has held numerous leadership roles on the board, including president, secretary, and vice chair. His legal expertise and unwavering commitment to the disability and mental health communities have made him an indispensable part of Reach’s mission.

“Patrick’s presence on our board and his involvement throughout our organization is vital,” said Kate Bottiger, Executive Director of Reach for Resources. “His passion for people with intellectual disabilities and mental health conditions is remarkable, and his legal guidance has helped us navigate everything from office relocations and government contracts to insurance claims and personnel policies.”

Most recently, Patrick played a pivotal role in the acquisition of TRAIL, a nonprofit that provided transportation for individuals with disabilities. His thoughtful negotiation and legal diligence ensured that TRAIL’s legacy would be honored while expanding Reach’s impact.

Twin Cities Business Magazine’s Notable series celebrates leaders who go beyond traditional board responsibilities to shape strategy, drive innovation, and empower communities. Honorees are selected based on peer nominations and editorial review.
